Mixtape for the Milky Way is a project launched in late 2020 by Minneapolis-based songwriter jeremy messersmith. Stripping down the lush chamber pop sounds of previous efforts, Mixtape for the Milky Way is a celebration of sonic minimalism and introspective non-fiction songwriting. For this debut live performance, messersmith will be joined by longtime bandmates Dan Lawonn and Andy Thompson.
