Flyover States is the musical trio comprised of Aaron Elliott, Steven Patton, and Jessica Rose Patton. Aaron and Steven, both from Nebraska, have been playing and singing together for over fifteen years in various bands and vocal ensembles and can best be described as platonic soulmates. Jessica is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from Hawaii who has been performing and recording on the West Coast since 2003. Jessica and Steven began dating and making music together in 2016 while Aaron was traveling around the world. A year later, when Aaron returned from his trip, he was delighted to discover that his duo had become a trio. Together, the three create modern folk music that is centered around complex vocal arrangements and dynamic harmonies.
