This World Fair is a rock band based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.[1]. The line-up includes Chris Kalgren (vocals, piano, guitar), George Hadfield (bass, vocals), Zack Carroll (guitar, vocals), and Alexander Young (drums). This World Fair plans to release their next album, self-titled This World Fair, in 2008. This World Fair is commonly abbreviated as TWF. The band performs hundreds of shows per year and are currently booked by the touring division of Creative Artists Agency.[2]
This World Fair formerly went by the name 'Kalgren'.[3] The band was discovered and is currently managed by the Grammy Award-winning record producer, Stephen Short. Past TWF and Kalgren members include DJ House (guitar) and Tyler Jorenby (drums). Over the years, the band have toured with acts such as Under the Influence of Giants, Guster, Phantom Planet, and former label-mates, The Colour.
